Raymond K. Savastano, age 68, of Madison, Ohio passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at home. He was born April 13, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio to Louis Anthony and Rose (Costanzo) Sylvester.
Raymond is a 1967 graduate of North High School. He served in the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Jay Wilson Post #112 in Madison. He was an avid golfer, played billiards and enjoyed exercising. He welcomed new people and experiences and had fierce love and devotion to his family and friends.
He is survived by his spouse of 32 years, Patricia Jacobson; daughter, Angela (Eric) Condon; grandson, Maximilian Condon; brother, Ronald Sylvester; sister, Sr. Patricia Sylvester SND Patti nephews, Darin Sylvester, Robert Mullen Jr., Dean Mullen, Daniel Mullen; and nieces, Molly Slechta, Amy Sylvester, Gayle Mullen. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Doris Jeanne Mullen in 2008; and sister-in-law, Rosemary Sylvester in 2016.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2017 at St. Cyprians Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry, Ohio. Final Resting Place will be All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. A reception will immediately follow at American Legion Jay Wilson Post #112, 6671 Middle Ridge Rd., Madison, OH 44057.
