Raymond H. Wawrowski
November 19, 1936 ~ November 23, 2022
Raymond H. Wawrowski, age 86, of Geneva passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Geneva Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, surrounded by his family. He was born November 19, 1936 in Garfield Heights, the son of Walter and Helen (Zuchowski) Wawrowski.
Raymond was an auto mechanic who loved racing. As a big Dale Earnhardt fan, the only day he ever cried was when #3 Passed. Ray loved fishing; and could be found on the Lake in his fishing boat even through his sea sickness that he always attributed to his medication.
He is survived by his sons, Raymond (Stacey), Michael (Cindy), Tim (Sherrie), Jim (Pamela), John (Lori) Wawrowski; daughter, Patty (John) Bolany; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his former wife and friend Shirley Myers. He was preceded in death by his parents and partner June Kwiatkowski.
Friends will be received 4-7 pm Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. The Family would like to give a special thanks to Geneva Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their loving and special care given to Ray and his family.
