Ray L. Vincent, Sr., 72 of Geneva went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 2, 2010 surrounded by his family.
Born: March 16, 1937 in Ashtabula to Bert and Catherine (Harris) Vincent
Ray worked at TrueTemper for several years as a hand straightener. He later retired as the Road Superintendent for the Geneva-on-the-Lake Village.
Married Marilyn Thompson-McMinn on September 7, 1957 at the Chapel United Methodist in Madison
Ray was an active member of the Geneva Church of the Nazarene where he served as a past board member. Fun at heart, he enjoyed playing Santa and Mrs. Clause with his wife for area school children. He was a talented woodworker and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Vincent of Geneva; Son, Ray Vincent Jr. of Geneva; 6 Daughters, Robin (Glen) Cochran, Colleen McMinn-Kettunen, Norma (Arnel) Addun, Rebecca (Ron) McClung & Melisa (Joe) Pyles all of Geneva, Jennifer (Chad) Marrison of Austinburg; 15 Grandchildren, Josh, Julie, Roberta, Kristina, Alisa, Geo, Dale, Kyle, Marcus, Arielle, Justin, Hannah, Dareion, Deidra, and Delaney; Great Grandson, Max Allan; 2 Brothers,Jack (Janice) Vincent of Geneva, and Dane (Carol) Vincent of Unionville
Preceded in death by: His Parents, Infant Daughter Kathleen, 3 Sisters and 2 Brothers
Friends will be received: 5 to 8pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva
Services: will be at 11am on Wednesday, January 6th at the Funeral Home
Funeral Service Final Resting Place: will be at North Madison Cemetery in Madison
