Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My favorite memory of Randy was from their supposed wedding weekend (You guys know the one he slept through). Nancy and I were in Erie at the VA hospital watching as the doctors tried to safe his life. We were just at a lost…until he open his eyes and tried to climb out of bed wanting to go home. He could barely lift his head and couldn't speak but those feet were out of the covers and trying to move. That's when I took a deep breathe tucked in his toes and knew that we would take you home but not just yet. ❤?❤ Nancy, you have had him in your life a lot longer than anyone ever expected when he got sick and for that time I am so grateful because I know he made you happy and he worshiped you. You will see him again someday. RIP Sweet man.

  2. I grew up with Randy. They lived across the street from us. The world will miss him. Like many of our generation, they served honorably in Vietnam, many times without appreciation back then. Prayers to the family and friends. JoEllen Vasbinder

  3. My deepest sympathy to your very special family Randy, who always made me feel welcomed in your home. You & your family were a special part of my life and I feel blessed for it. Rest In Peace my dear friend. Love Carol McCue Banker

  4. 51 years ago we were engaged, it did not work out but eventually we got to be friends. My husband Al and I signed him up for the VFW. My husband Al was District Commander of VFW of Ohio.
