Ralph H Crandall

Ralph H. Crandall, age 85, of Thompson, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013. He was born July 9, 1928 in Painesville, Ohio to Nellie A. (Hulbert) & Homer I Crandall and married Anastasia Cabizis on June 13, 1966. Ralph served in the US Army. He was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness serving as an elder for many years. He loved reading his well-worn bible, working in the garden and cutting wood. Ralph loved people and always enjoyed a good conversation. He was proud to work in the family business, Crandall Ford, for most of his working life. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Geauga Assisted Living for their loving care. He is survived by sons, Andrew (Camri) Crandall of Thompson, James L. (Deborah) Kingsley of Cambridge Springs, PA, Larry Joe (Laura Joan) Kingsley of Ormond Beach, FL; grandchildren, Daniel Kingsley, Drew Crandall, Kayla Crandall. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anastasia; grandson, Larry Joe Kingsley and his parents. Friends will be received 6-8 PM Friday, September 6, 2013 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, September 7, 2013, at The Montville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 17471 GAR Highway, Montville, OH 44064. Final resting place will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Thompson, Ohio.
