Rachelle Marie Carlson (née Drown),56, 143 River Street Madison, Ohio 44057, passed away on Friday, November 13th surrounded by her much beloved family. Rachelle was born in Warren , Ohio July 23, 1964. She was the eldest daughter of James N. Drown , Jr. and Georgia Carol ( Solnick) Drown. Rachelle was a graduate of Madison High School in Madison, Ohio and Patricia Stevens Career College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She worked for University Hospital in Geneva, Ohio for many years. Rachelle is remembered as a vivacious, fun-loving, and high -spirited woman who embraced life fully and fought tenaciously to remain with her devoted husband, Chris Carlson, daughters, Katherine ( Reynolds) Montgomery, and Hannah (Reynolds) Lyons . She was cherished by her sons-in- law Corey Montgomery and Alwan Lyons. She was a doting grandmother to five grandchildren: Skylar Montgomery, Nathaniel McCloskey, Nadia Montgomery, Noah Montgomery, and Carter Lyons. She is also survived by her parents, James and Georgia Drown , as well as her younger sister, Dana Drown. She enjoyed a close relationship with her aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was the center of her hearth and home. Rachelle enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her love of nature, and her joy of cooking meals for a crowd. Rachelle is now in an eternal summer. The things she enjoyed in life- laughter, sun, sand, and spending time at the beach or riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycles- she most certainly will continue to enjoy given the happy, free-spirit that she was. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched with her faith, her loyalty, and her grace. The family currently intends to establish a memorial fund in her name.
