Porter Guy Reed
April 25, 1945 ~ July 30, 2016
Porter Guy Reed, 71, passed away peacefully at his home on July 30, 2016. He was born in Tallmansville, WV, the son of the late Porter Carl and Marjorie Ellen (Snider) Reid. He served in the US Air Force from 1963 to 1967 in England.
Porter was a machine line operator at Fasson Products (Avery Dennison) for 37 years. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Most of all, he enjoyed the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife Linda of 49 years; sons, Porter Theodore Reed and Stewart Dale Reed; siblings, Richard Reid, Rose Taylor, Clyde Reid, Audra Gay Penrod, William Reid, Evelyn June Michael, Ramona Richman, James Reid, and Charlotte D'Andrea. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Fox.
At Porter's request, no services will be held.
The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, OH is honored to serve the family.

So sorry to read that Porter has passed. He was a very nice man, a good neighbor to have. Our condolences to you, Linda, and your sons. He is now at rest and peace. Hopefully, you will find comfort and peace knowing that he is with God.
