Phyllis Rush

Phyllis Rush, age 73, of Geneva Ohio, passed away Friday June 6, 2014 at home. She had been a resident of Geneva since 2001. Prior to that, she resided in Pennsylvania, Washington DC, and Virginia. She graduated in 1962 from the Akron City Hospital School of Nursing. Phyllis attended Lake Erie College and graduated from St. Francis Hospital School of Anesthesia, Pittsburg PA in 1971. She also received her BA in History from Louisiana State University. Mrs. Rush worked as a registered nurse and certified registered nurse anesthetist in various hospitals around the country and in England. She returned home to Ohio in 1982 to help care for her ill father. She is survived by her husband, Robert Greig Rush of Geneva; daughter, Mrs. Beverly (Donald) Wunderlich of Easton PA; granddaughter, Danielle Wunderlich, of Easton, PA; brother-in-law, William Rush of Painesville. Phyllis is preceded in death by her son, Greig Thomas Rush, in 1995; parents, Maynard Stritch, in 1985 and Lucille Stritch in 1991. Graveside Services will be at 10 am, Friday June 13 at Perry Cemetery. Phyllis's son-in-law, Deacon Donald Wunderlich will officiate. THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 S.
