Phyllis Lockridge Riffle

Phyllis (Lockridge) Riffle, age 70, of Harpersfield Township, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014. Born September 26, 1943, in Durbin, WV, she was the daughter of Edna (Ratliffe) & Reece Lockridge. She married Lonnie Riffle, Jr. in Painesville, on November 22, 1961. Phyllis was a nurses aide at NEO Hospital and also worked as a cafeteria aide for Madison Schools. She was a past member of American Legion Post 112. Phyllis had a wonderful sense of humor and always loved being around her family, especially during the holidays. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Riffle Jr., of Harpersfield; son, Lonnie (Jean) Riffle III of Harpersfield; daughters, Lona (Herman) York III of Harpersfield, Lora Pfeiler of Madison, Pamela (James Clark) Jenkins of Madison; grandchildren, Scott, Jessica, Tyler, Sara, Rachel, Herman IV; 1 great-grandson and several step- grandchildren; sister, Marsha Lockridge of Painesville; brother, Gary Setler of Fairport and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Kathryn Lockridge; sister, Patricia Hall; brother, Donald Lockridge. Friends will be received 2-4 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2014, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio, with a funeral service following at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
