Phyllis Balch

Phyllis Balch, age 78, of Geneva, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Heather Hill Care Communities in Chardon. She was born February 18, 1938 in Wallace, WV the daughter of Minnie (Ashcraft) and Brooks Hutson. In 1957, she married William T. Balch in Indiana.
Phyllis worked for several years at the Industrial Rayon Corporation. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She also loved watching her grandson, Thomas, at all his sporting events.
She is survived by sons, George (Debbie) Balch of Geneva, John Balch of Painesville; grandson, Thomas (Kelly) Balch of TX; great-grandchildren, Axel and Maci Balch. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; sons, Billy Balch, Donald Balch; and her parents.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. August 24, 2016 at Fairview Cemetery on River Street in Madison, Ohio.
Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
