Phillip Platz

Phillip Platz, age 81, of Madison, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Alter Care of Mentor. He was born June 1, 1940 in Willoughby, the son of Walter E. and Margaret Belle (Lago) Platz. Phillip retired after 40 years as a Factory Shipping Clerk for Kisment Products. He is survived by his wife, Mary Platz; children, Patricia L. (Randy) Merkosky, Deborah L. Sturtevant, Phillip E. (Christine); 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Joan (Paul) Synenburg. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dorothy Clark, Carol Peterson, Robert Platz, Nelson Platz, June Bolton, Kenneth Platz, and Louella Rynaski, and infant sister, Linda.
