Peter "Kit" Kittredge Donaldson

Peter "Kit" Kittredge Donaldson, age 83, of Madison, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Lantern of Madison. He was born April 19, 1940 in Baltimore, MD, the son of Frank and Beverly (Dixon) Donaldson. He married the love of his life Susanne “Sue” A. White on September 9, 1961. They were childhood sweethearts growing up together in Maryland. Kit thought a lot of his country and served in the National Guard. He retired from the position of Vice President of Pittsburg Plate Glass. He was a longtime devoted member of Central Congregational Church in Madison and held many positions throughout the years. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, and fast cars. He is survived by nieces, Linda Guidi, Lee (Tom) Reber, Tracy Melvin, Tammy (Darrell) Reid; Ginger (Ross) Myers; nephews, Shawn (Lorie) White, Paul (Amanda) Lenardson Jr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue, who passed away October 4, 2022; brothers, George (Anne), and Donnie (Barbara). A Memorial Service will be held to honor both Kit and Sue on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 11:00 am. Friends will be received from 10 to 11:00 prior to service at Central Congregational Church, 71 Park St. Madison. Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison, Ohio.
