Peter "Bud" Voytko

Peter “Bud” Voytko, age 74, of Geneva-on-the-Lake passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at his home. He was born December 20, 1949 in Lakewood, Ohio, to Bessie (Jurkovich) and Peter Voytko, Sr. He married Sandy Bina in Lakewood, Ohio.

Bud joined the Marines while still in high school, and received his diploma while enlisted. He came home and swept his future wife, Sandy, off her feet. Bud was a warehouse supervisor and was proud taking care of his family. When he was younger, Bud helped his mother in volunteering with the Right To Life movement, as well as an “adopt a family” charity group, and would dress up as Santa Clause, visiting young children and families to spread holiday cheer. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, but loved the Browns overall.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy; children, Carey Calvey, Peter Voytko III, and Stephen Voytko; grandchildren, Kayla and Samantha; daughter in law, Kim Voytko; great grandchildren, Camryn, Ava, and Kasen; sisters, Lydia Rowan, Paula Cole, Marjorie Voytko, Betsy Dossman. He was preceded in death by his sons, Robert B. Voytko, Scott Voytko; daughter, Michelle Voytko, and his parents.
