Peggy Sue Herron

Peggy Sue Herron, age 54, of Ashtabula, Ohio laid down for a nap and woke up with her beloved grandson Jermaine and her parents on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. She was born March 9, 1961 in Madison, Ohio to Ora and Margaret (Yoho) Herron. Peggy Sue graduated from Madison High School Class of 1979. She retired in 2008 after 20 years with Stewart Lodge, where she was dedicated and passionate about helping the mentally challenged. Peggy Sue loved her children and grandchildren, gardening and taking care of her house plants and taking photos of her family. Her family meant the world to her and she was devoted to honoring her grandson Jermaine's memory in water safety and highway clean-ups. Peggy Sue adored her family, friends and neighbors. She is survived by her children, Melissa Zirkle, Bianca Bruni and Jonathan Loving; grandson, Quandrel Liggans; siblings, Bill (Donna) Herron, Bob (Rema) Herron, Dave (Karen) Herron and Anni Herron; longtime companion, John Loving; and many cousins, family and friends. Peggy Sue was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jermaine Zirkle; and nephews, William Herron, Jr. and Robert Herron, Jr. Friends will be received on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. Funeral services will be held, Friday, September 18 at 11 A.M. at the Cornerstone Friends Church, 2300 North Hubbard Rd., Madison, with Pastor Mark Winner, officiating. Burial will follow at Madison Memorial Cemetery.
