Peg Gage

Peg Gage (Cowger), 77, of Madison was with her family at home when she passed away Sunday afternoon, April 23, 2017. Peg was born June 22, 1939 in Hackers Valley, WV, to Duncan and Ethel (Fisher) Cowger. She later married loving husband Bill Gage.
Always active and busy, Peg was a strong willed woman. She owned and operated a ceramic shop while also dedicating herself to other outside work. She was very proud of her service to the Madison School District as a bus driver and retired from there after 11 years.
Peg is survived by her beloved Katie Lynn; sisters, Jean Kinney and Vicki Greenslade; brother, Butch Cowger and fianc Joanie; and several loved nieces and nephews. She joins in passing her husband of 33 years Bill; her beloved Princess; brothers Junior Cowger, Jobie Cowger, Arnie Cowger, and Don Cowger.
Friends and family may call 10am12pm Thursday, April 27, 2017 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, OH 44057. A funeral service will follow at 12pm at the funeral home. Peg's final resting place will be Fairview Cemetery.
Contributions may be made in Peg's name to the VFW post at which she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Unit.

She was an amazing lady.. I met her in Sept. and am happy to say was a fighter.. She was always pleasant. I am glad to say I knew her.. I am glad she is no longer in pain..She fought the fight..
