Pearl M Book

Pearl M. Book, age 98, of Ashtabula, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013. She was born November 19, 1914 in Sheffield Township to Maude M. (Price) & Thomas Edward Mills and married Buell Burton Book in Ripley, NY on December 23, 1933. Pearl worked for J C Penney Department Store in both Ashtabula and Mentor for many years. A wonderful seamstress, she was devoted to her faith, active in her church teaching Sunday school at Plymouth United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Paul Book of Madison; daughter, Beverly R. Drew of North Kingsville; brothers, Gordon Mills of OK, Burton Mills of Kingsville, OH. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Buell Book; her parents and sisters, Mable Book, Esther Shoff and Goldie Parsons.. Friends will be received 10-11 AM, Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio.. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Rev. Vernon Palo will be officiating the service. Final Resting Place will be at North Madison Cemetery in Madison.
