Paul Eugene Osterman, Sr.

Paul Eugene Osterman, Sr., age 78 of Austinburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at the Lantern of Saybrook with family at his side. Paul was born August 26, 1940 to Delbert R. and Ruby (Farrell) Osterman in Fairfield, Illinois. He married his current wife Sandra Gibson Moseley June 14, 1996 in Madison, Ohio.
Paul was a retired forge and press operator for TECT in Euclid. During retirement he and his wife were active in the community as secondary market entrepreneurs (Kuriosity Korner) and served many years with the Geneva Grape Jamboree Committee and Austinburg Country Days. He enjoyed going on senior casino trips, country dancing and country music. When at home he could be found working in his garden, reading a good book, or spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
He is survived by his current wife, Sandra; children from a previous marriage; Patti (Mike) Sullivan, Anthony “Tony” (Jill) Osterman, and Paul Osterman, Jr.; grandchildren, Emma Sullivan and A.J. Osterman; a sister, Mary MacDonald; many nieces and nephews, as well as his wife’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, George and Alexus Osterman and a granddaughter, Isabella Osterman.
Friends will be received 10 am -12pm Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio 44041. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Final resting place will be Center Cemetery, Austinburg.
