Patti Wilson, age 59 of Madison,
passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Hospice of The Western Reserve in Cleveland surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Pattie was born October 30, 1951 in Cleveland. She was a bartender and was a member of the American Legion Jay Wilson Post 8548. Patti loved with all her heart. She showed her family and friends her deep love for them every day. She had a ready smile for everyone she came in contact with. She spread joy, fun, respect and enthusiasm for life wherever she went. Patti loved and enjoyed her life with no regrets and was thankful for each day. She will be missed terribly, but the wonderful memories of her will always bring a smile to help conquer the sadness.
She is survived by her daughter,Tracy Adams of Geneva; grandchildren, Christopher (Patiance) Wilson of Geneva; Justin Adams of Geneva;
father, Tony Ruta of Madison; brother, Bob (Teresa) Wilson of Austinburg;
sister, Lucy Salyers of Ashtabula; and
lifelong companion, Jim Carpenter of Madison.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Ruta; brother, Tony Ruta; sister, Linda Wilson-Cammerata; and son-in-Law, Jason Adams.
Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-9 pm, Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at the funeral home with Rev. Harry Pishcura of New Life Assembly Of God officiating.
Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
