Patrick Joseph McCue
March 9, 1962 ~ November 21, 2020
Patrick Joseph McCue (age 58), born March 9,1962 in San Fernando Valley, CA, died November 21, 2020 in Beachwood, OH. Beloved son of the late Rita (nee Higgins) and Vincent McCue; cherished brother of the late Mary Rita Pauwee, Kevin McCue, Regina McCue and Joan Musarra. Patrick is survived by his sisters, Melinda Offer (Louis), Susan McCue (Joe), and Erin Goldberg (Daniel); and his brother John McCue. Patrick also leaves behind Christina (McMahon) McCue, Ben Pauwee, and Frank Musarra. He was also a cherished uncle of Jennifer, Julie, Patricia, Tom, Kathleen, Alice, Christopher, Jessi, Lindsay, Frankie, Jillian, Connor, and Lauren; and loving cousin and friend to all he met.
Patrick was a tremendous blessing in all our lives. He made us smile, laugh and always feel loved. He was a gentle soul who touched the hearts of so many, and brought out the best in us. Patrick was born prematurely, and despite the brevity of his time here with us, he lived life to its fullest, and left us too soon. His sense of humor was legendary - nuk nuk nuk! He loved bowling, miniature golf, dancing to oldies music, participating in the Special Olympics, and spending time with family at the cottage and cabin. He loved all dogs, especially Shannon O’Toole.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a celebration of life memorial mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Special Olympics, or to the charity of your choice.
Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison, OH is assisting the family. Online obituary and condolences may be viewed at www.behmfuneral.com

I didn't know Patrick well. When my best friend Kevin passed in 2017 I went to the funeral. I was welcomed as family. When they graciously let me join them at the gravesite I got a glimpse of what a special person he was. We sang songs. My memory is tearfully fuzzy. We sang You Are My Sunshine I remember. And Patrick led us all in an Irish drinking song. As we were getting ready to leave he came over and gave me a big hug. That's how I'll remember him.
Uncle Pat was an amazing guy, always the life of the party. He was warm, affectionate and funny, and we all have tons of stories about him. I miss him already, but I know we can take comfort that he is being reunited with other loved ones in Heaven.
An open letter to Patrick McCue Aka Gilligan from the Skipper. Michael Offer Patrick you were the best first mate ever their Was I can still hear you saying Aye Aye Skipper. As we were on the shore of lake Erie at the Offer cottage You had a great way of being whomever you wanted to be Sometimes for days on end and you enjoyed whoever you were. You kept searching Your Giligan’s Island for Mary Ann with a sparkle in your eye and a Trademark grin. Not sure if you found her. I think we all enjoyed the roles you played. But I’m sure you enjoyed the characters you picked the most. Well you are now resting on a new island in some Paradise with your loved ones and the Lord. God Bless you Gilligan my First mate until our ship sails again. Michael Offer
Patrick, you were THE BEST and you always will be a part of everyone you came into contact with. You taught me so much. I will miss you, but I am so happy that you are in Heaven with so many people who have been waiting patiently for your arrival. Have fun up there, pal!
