Patrick F. O’Neal, age 86, of Madison, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021. He was born March 13, 1935 in Uniontown, PA the son of Donald and Margaret (Lonergan) O’Neal. He married Janet Sue (Chasser) on August 16, 1997 at their lakefront home in Madison. Patrick was a 1953 graduate of Uniontown High School and went on to graduate from Waynesburg College in PA in 1957. He served as Director of Safety at Republic Steel and later was the Vice President of Human Resources for Chardon Rubber. He enjoyed golfing and playing tennis at the Chagrin Valley Raquet Club. He also loved his classic cars and especially his 1956-57 and 58 Studebakers. He was a huge Buckeye and Browns Fan. He is survived by his children, Virginia “Jinni” (John) George; sons, Kevin O’Neal and Brian (Kika) O’Neal; step-son, David (Eileen) Salen; step-daughter, Jennifer Hoffman; grandchildren, Kevin and Chad Wilson, Christopher Revehl, Eric Nader, Amanda Stem, Jack George, Jake and Abby O’Neal, Alexandra, Rachel and Brenna Salen, Tyler and Zachary Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Addi, Dorian, Audrey, Ayden, Mason, Mac, Monroe, Sydney and Patrick. He was preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, Janet Sue O’Neal; sister, Virginia O’Neal and brother, Donald O’Neal. Friends will be received 4-8 pm Friday, June 11, 2021 at Behm Family Funeral Home 26 River St. Madison, OH. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 11:00am on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Rd. Madison, OH with Fr. Sean Donnelly officiating. Final resting place will be All Souls Cemetery, Cortland, OH. Memorial contributions may be made in Patrick’s name to the American Cancer Society.
