Norman Louis Kikel

Norman Louis Kikel, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully after a courages battle with cancer on December 9th.
Born on June 18, 1935 he was a life long resident of Harpersfield. He was a highly skilled
brick mason and ultimately won the craftsmanship award for his masonry work on the Geneva Public Library in 1998.
After retirement, he and his wife loved to travel and were recognized as exemplary state park volunteers in both Arizona and Florida where they spent their winters for many years.
Norm loved nature, his garden and he was an avid sports enthusiast. He proudly supported all his grandchildren in their various activities.
Norm is survived by his loving wife, Shirley (Krasneski) of 56 years, two daughters, Vickie (Steve) Smee, Donna (Tony) Hassett and one son, Dan Kikel, his grandchildren, Jeff and Katie Smee, Mindi and Mollie Kikel and Leah and Alexis Hassett all from Geneva.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joe.
Friends will be received from 10-11:00 am Saturday, December 17, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio 44041.
A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
