Norma Marie Carlson

Norma Marie Carlson, age 78, of Perry, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 19, 2023. She was born on October 3, 1944 in Lewiston, Maine. Later, she married James “Jim” Carlson, raised two children, and three grandchildren. Norma was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her three grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She loved animals and enjoyed taking care of the family’s dogs and cats; she had a special way with animals. In the spring and summer, she was devoted to spending time in her flower garden. She was a wonderful matriarch who will be missed dearly by family and friends. Norma is survived by her beloved husband, Jim; son, Timothy (Michelle) Carlson; and grandsons, Colton and T.J.; daughter, Melissa (Ben) Parks; and granddaughter, Elizabeth. She is preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. Madison, Ohio.
