Nelson Blackburn

Nelson "Scotty" Blackburn, age 67, resident of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 University Hospitals of Cleveland. Born August 10, 1944 in Elderslie, Scotland to Mary Jane (Curran) & Robert Blackburn, he married Lisa Kraemer in Cleveland, Ohio on December 16, 1983 Scotty was an Iron Worker with Local 17 for over 30 years. Scotty was proud of his Scottish heritage and known as Grampy by his grandkids, he truly enjoyed time with his family He is survived by Wife, Lisa Blackburn of Geneva; Daughters, Rachael (Seneca) O Neil of Columbus; Kimberly of Georgia; Son, Kenny Blackburn of Geneva; Grandchildren, Sean, Elijah, Hailey, Avrie, Brother John Blackburn of Eastlake; Several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM, Monday, October 31, 2011, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
