Nancy Sue Shadowen

Nancy Sue Shadowen, age 74, of Madison, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born on January 7, 1941 in Zanesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy A. (Roberts) and Robert E. Lee. in 1960, she married Stanley E. Shadowen in Wickliffe. Nancy worked for Parker Hannifin in Eastlake. Along with her husband, she owned and operated the Bakery Confection Country, which later turned into CC Bakery. Nancy was a talented writer and publisher of poems. She is survived by her sons, Edward Shadowen, of Lexington SC; Stanley (Laura) Shadowen of Willoughby; daughter, Shelly (Ronald) Westfall of Windsor; grandchildren, Amanda (Jason) Harlan, Elizabeth (Chris) Felder, Stanley II. Shadowen, Gregory Buber, Stephanie (Dennis) Webster, Nichole (Nathan) Jackson, Eric Shadowen, Charlie Sue (Ronnie) Swick; great-grandchildren, Sage, Jacob, Hunter, Brooklynn, Harlan, Jason and Declan; sister, Mary Likovic of Willowick; brother, Ronald Lee of Willoughby. Nancy also leaves behind her dear friend Sara. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley; brother, Robert E. Lee and son Charles. Friends will be received from 5-8 pm Monday, June 1, 2015 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am. on Tuesday June 2, 2015 at Colebrook North Cemetery on Fee Road. Contributions may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Hospice, 6801 Brecksville Rd.
