Nancy Quickel

Nancy Quickel, age 85, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on June 4, 2024 at Geneva Village Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on June 11, 1938 to Joseph and Katherine (Foster) Berta in Madison. She is survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, Clarence, Joseph, Richard, John and Bill Berta; sisters, Dorothy Bushnell, Catherine Berta, Gertrude Berta, Barbara Spence and Sandra Blasko; Her daughters Debra Swatowski and Keri Pudder.

Throughout her life, Nancy was a caregiver, and spent much of her time working in home health. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a fiery spirit and a witty sense of humor, lighting up any room full of laughter. She kept you on your toes. You never knew what she was gonna say next. You would never catch her without her fingernails polished and she loved watching the Cleveland Indians/Guardians whenever they were on the field.
