Mildred Henry

Mildred H. Henry, age 90, of Geneva, passed away Monday, February 04, 2013 at UH Geneva Medical Center. She was born November 18, 1922 in Cleveland to Louise (Bohnsack) & James Dennis. Mildred married Cecil W. Henry in Austinburg, OH on September 18, 1946. She was a 1941 graduate of Jefferson High School. She was a member of Geneva First United Methodist Church, Mary-Martha Circle of the Geneva First United Methodist Church, Buckeye & Austinburg Grange, charter member of the Harpersfield Cinder-Ellas, former Harpersfield Zoning Secretary, and American Merchant Marine. Mildred helped her husband on the family grape and dairy farm and loved camping and traveling with her husband to all the lower 48 states. She also enjoyed square dancing, bowling and watching Cleveland sports. She is survived by her sons, Delno (Jeanne) Henry, Clifford (Lynda) Henry & Everett (Julie) Henry, all of Harpersfield Twp., OH; grandchildren, Brian (Carmel), Frank (Angela), Joe, Gregory (Suzie), Jon (Rachel), David (Andrea) & Rachel (Larry Donohoe); 8 great-grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil W. Henry; parents; brothers, Charles, James & Robert Dennis. Friends will be received 4-7 PM, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, February 8, 2013 at the funeral home with Rev. Bruce Hitchcock of Geneva First United Methodist Church officiating. Final resting place will be at Harpersfield Cemetery in Harpersfield Twp., Ohio.
