Melvina Jean Meredith, age 50, was a resident of Perry, Ohio where she lived with her fiancé, Jeremiah White and daughter Samantha. She was born to William and Carol (Hamrick) Meredith on June 27, 1970. She died after a 2 year battle with colon cancer, surrounded by family at home, on January 2, 2021.
She worked in the service industry before becoming a stay at home mother. Jean enjoyed spending time at home watching TV and playing games with her family.
She was proceeded in death by both parents, an Uncle Kenneth Hamrick, and niece Daija Wynne. She is survived by her younger sister, Carla Ramos; and Jason Larick, Kelsie Delfft, Jesse Comadoll, Hanna Kohut, Joey Delfft, Rena Posner, Amanda Thomas and Samantha White. She also leaves behind an extended family to include sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and nephew.

Jean and I played a game called I am not touching you as a kid.. she would basically move her finger towards me until I fell out of the bed because I was trying to prevent her from touching me. I love growing up with her and will miss her always.

My mother, was a great mom, she did everything to keep me happy and entertained, it was truly traumatizing but ill remember her in every way i can, i love her so much
