Maryann Lamitie
November 28, 1937 ~ July 29, 2024
Maryann Lamitie, age 86, of Madison, Ohio, passed away July 29, 2024 at home while with her family. She was born November 28, 1937 in Cleveland, OH to Henrietta (Lade) and Allen Reublin. Maryann married Vincent Lamitie in Cleveland, in 1957.
Maryann was a firecracker who told it like it was. She made sure to raise her son lovingly, to be kind and successful. She made him a gentleman, and to help others. She would give up anything for anyone else. She didn't like to join the old folks in Bingo, but rather go over to the speedway on a Friday night. Maryann's favorite hobby was mothering and making a great home for her family. Yellow flowers were always her favorite.
She is survived by her son, Vincent (Angel) Lamitie; grandchildren, Vincent "Duke" Lamitie, Ashleyann Lamitie; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Lamitie, Brooklyn Riddle, Gary "Junior" Riddle; sister, Juanita Rainey; niece, Penny Hawkins, and many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and her little dog, Sadie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; parents Henrietta and Allen; and brother, Robert Reublin.
Friends will be received 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison Ohio, 44057. Graveside Service will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Rd, Avon, OH 44011, the following day, Friday, August 2, 2024, at 10am. Rev. Steve Yedinak will be officiating. I love you so much grandma ! And not a day goes by where something don’t remind me of you ! A flower a purple shirt or anything or I catch myself watching diagnosis murder or golden girls and find myself with tears rolling down my face . You are my hero if I can live half the life you did and be as loving and forgiving as you then I’m blessed . When you passed you took a big piece of my heart with you
