Mary V. Nuzum

Mary V. Nuzum, age 100, of Madison, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 3, 1921 in Lost Creek, W.VA. to Emma (Root) and Lee Keener. She married Justice F. Nuzum in Geneva, Ohio on December 29, 1961. Mary was a homemaker, lover and hugger, who enjoyed taking care of her family. She also enjoyed making quilts, reading, and gardening. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Frances) Riffle, Lonnie Riffle; stepsons, Gerald (Dorothy) Nuzum, Daniel Nuzum, Darrell (Rose) Nuzum; stepdaughters, Janet Nuzum, Patricia (Terry) Watts; many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Glen Keener; and son-in-law, Ralph Myers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Justice F. Nuzum, Jr; daughters, Monta Myers and Charlotte Stec; daughter-in -law, Phyllis Riffle; parents; sisters, Betty Eubank, Ann Hamrick, Minnie Arbogast, Allie Keener, Mabel Bickle, Madeline Enea and Eloise Rogers; brothers, Johnie, Bo, Earlo and Gene Keener. Friends and family will be received 5-8 pm Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Service will be held 11 am Friday, July 30, 2021 at the funeral home.
