Mary Teresa Square went to be with the Lord, Friday, September 23, 2016. Mary was born in Fairport Harbor, October 28, 1917 and was a 1936 graduate of Harding High School. In 1941, Mary married James A. Square. Together Mary and James raised three loving children. She was a homemaker who enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She was a member of St. Cyprian Catholic Church. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Blaz and Teresa Drobnick; husband, James A. Square, Sr. in 2003; granddaughter, Regan Wakelee, sister, Amelia Hakala; brother, Joseph Drobnick. Mary is survived by her three children Karen Wakelee (William, deceased), James (Christine) Square and Jerome (Angelie) Square; grandchildren, Heather (Paul) Travis, Scott (Alisa) Square, Jennie (Mike) Mitchell, great-grandchildren, Tanner Square, Hunter Square, Eden Travis, Koleton Mitchell, Kylie Mitchell; niece, Lois Chiappone; great nieces, Tami Steincamp, Lori Strozniak; great nephew, Frank Chiappone. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11AM at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Rd., Perry, Ohio 44081, with Father George Kusy officiating. Burial will follow at Perry Cemetery. The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio 44057 is assisting the family. Friends may leave condolences online at www.behmfuneral.com

  1. VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF MY GOD MOTHER MARY (BABE) SQUARE. MY FATHER JOSEPH SHETINA,WOULD ALWAYS TALK ABOUT GROWING UP WITH BABE. WE SOMETIMES WOULD STOP OVER TO SEE HER AT HER HOME IN PERRY,OHIO. WHEN WE WOULD GO OUT FOR A RIDE.BABE WAS ALWAYS VERY PLEASANT AN NICE TO BE WITH. MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
