Mary Elizabeth Tabor

Mary Elizabeth Tabor, age 83, of Geneva, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born October 30, 1938, in Brookville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Lewis J. and Mary E. (Sushereba) Karkosky. Mary loved attending the Church of Christ in Geneva, Unionville and Ashtabula communities. She also enjoyed Sporting events, eating ice cream, looking at Christmas Lights and being a mom to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Burl Daniel Tabor and Jack (Paula) Tabor; grandchildren, Brandice Tabor, Samantha Tabor, Zachary Tabor and Josh Tabor; siblings, Lewis (Gayle) Karkosky, Don (Betty) Karkosky, Dave (Jill) Karkosky, and William Karkosky, Daisy Conrad, Eleanor (Russ) Muise and Larry (Pat) Karkosky. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Walter Randall Tabor; her parents; siblings, Robert and Ed Karkosky, Shirley Geiger and Violet Baab. Friends will be received 4-6 pm Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva with a service immediately following at 6 pm.
