Mary E. Stapleton, age 80, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Tri-Point Medical Center. She was born February 10, 1938 in Logan County, WV. Mary married Fred J. Stapleton in Painesville on April 21, 1961.
Mary was a member of Mentor Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading and studying her bible. She adored and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Fred; children, Tina (Warren) Ward of Perry, James Stapleton of Madison, Dan (Bonnie) Bradley of Lecanto, FL; grandchildren, Valerie (Derek) Helms, Steven (Amanda) Bradley, Nathan Ward, Austin Ward, Cameron Ward; six great-grandchildren, and sister, Velma Brown of Pageland, SC. She was preceded in death by ten siblings.
Friends will be received 10-12 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2018 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057 with a funeral service to follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Minister Jay-ar Miclat will be officiating. Final resting place will be Madison Memorial.

My mother and I miss Mary so much. She was one of the first person we got to know when we start going to Mentor Church of Christ. Not a day go by that she is not mentioned and remembered at our house. She was kind, loving and caring. GOD bless, comfort and give her husband, Fred, and family peace.
