Mary E. Evans

Mary E. Evans, age 73 of Trumbull Township passed away November 26, 2014 at UH Ahuja Medical Center. She was born in New York City on September 9, 1941 to Helen Heffernan and Fred Bauer. Mary was a 1962 graduate of St. Vincent School of Nursing in New York City. She retired in 2001 as an RN at Geauga County Health Department. Mary was a member of the Ashtabula County Genealogical Society. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards with friends and especially watching her grandsons sporting activities. She is survived by her husband, Allan Barski; sons, Bob (Dawn) Evans of Mentor, Mike Evans of Mentor; grandsons, Anthony, Joseph; sisters, Helen Watkins of MD, Lillian (Arthur) Bickmeyer of VA, Pat (John) Glynn of MD and Eleanor DeNeufville of Long Island, NY and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Fred Bauer and sister, Dorothy Hayden. Friends will be received from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Monday, December 1, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am on Tuesday, December 2nd at St. Patrick's Church in Thompson. Final resting place will be at Trumbull Center Cemetery, Trumbull Township, OH.
