Mary Ann Vinkovich

Mary Ann Vinkovich, age 98 of Perry, passed away on August 4, 2014 at the David Simpson Hospice House surrounded by her family. Born July 21, 1916 in Brier Hill, PA, she was the daughter of Mary (Cheple) & Rudolph Vinkovich. Mary Ann worked as a supervisor at IRC Fibers for 37 years retiring in 1983. She is survived by her nieces, Carol Vinkovich (Harvey) Shaw of Rockledge, FL, Virginia Vinkovich (Gil) Wagstaff of Phoenix, AZ; great-nieces, Sharon Shaw (Tex) Petty of Tombstone, AZ, Darlene Shaw (Russell) Owings of Arrington, VA; great-nephew, Neil Vinkovich of Reno, NV and great-great-nephew, Liam. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her dear and loving friend for over 60 years, Helene Leggett; her sister Anna Cox and her daughter, Patsy Cox; brothers, Ivan, Joseph, Paul & Rudolph Vinkovich; nephews, Jimmy & Gary Vinkovich. There will be a Graveside Service 11:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Perry Cemetery on Center Road in Perry. There will be a Celebration of Life following the graveside service at Mary Ann's house, 3971 Mallard Bay in Perry. The family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060.
