Mary Ann Simcak

Mary Ann Simcak, age 82, passed away November 26, 2019 at Hospice of the Western Reserve. She was born July 25, 1937 in Cleveland, OH to Edward and Mary (Kacvinsky) Vancura. She married the late Stephen J. Simcak on November 9, 1963 and now are eternally together.
Mary Ann leaves behind her children, Diana Carroll, David (Donna) Osborne, Donna Natarajan, Steve (Karen) Simcak and Kimberly Simcak; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and brothers, Edward and Donald Vancura. She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen, grandson Stephen “Stosh” Simcak; son-in-law, Nat Natarajan; and brother, Gerald Vancura.
Mary Ann showed strength and courage while battling cancer for 5 years. During her journey, she endured several treatments including her participation in a clinical trial at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Friends will be received, 5-9 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH. A Memorial Service will take place 11 a.m. Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the funeral home.

MARY ANN AND STEVE WERE TWO OF THE NICEST PEOPLE AND NEIGHBORS IN “TANGERINE WOODS ” AND ENJOYED THE TIME WITH THEM IN “BEMUS POINT”. MARY ANN AND I (VIVIAN) WERE BOTH BATTELING CANCER FOR MANY YEARS. WE WILL MISS MARY ANN.
