Mary Ann Rose Selan

Mary Ann Rose Selan, 91, passed away while sleeping on February 23, 2016. She was born to John and Jennie (Schuma Femc) Maydich March 27, 1924 in Hoboken, New Jersey. When Mary was 22, she wed Michael A. Selan on July 4, 1946. Mary was a 1941 graduate of Forest City High School in Forest City, PA. She was a former volunteer at Richmond Heights Hospital and a member of the Slovenian Women's Union Branch #25. Mary was a homemaker who loved her dear family and enjoyed travelling. She is survived by her son, Robert M. (Jo Anne Castellano) Selan; grandchildren Bradley, Brittany, Sarah, Matthew, Craig and their mother Debbie; 5 great grandchildren, and great grandbaby boy due in June; brother, Carl Femc. Mary is predeceased by her husband Michael, and parents, as well as step-father Louis Femc who raised her. Friends and family may call 10am-11am Thursday, Feb 25, 2016 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio, 44057. A funeral service will be 11am at the funeral home, officiated by Mary's grandson, Pastor Bradley Louis Selan of St. James Brethren Church, Hagerstown, Maryland.
