Marvin L. Moss

Marvin L. Moss, age 85 of Madison, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at his home. He was born July 7, 1937 in Cass, WV the son of the late Kathryn (Slaven) and C. Marvin Moss.   Marvin served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps from Nov. 1955 to Nov. 1958. As a young man who just returned home from the service his fun sense of humor won over the love of his life, Robyn Von Lehmden. They were married in Wickliffe on October 22, 1960 and together raised a wonderful family. Marvin was a Lab Technician and would later retire as a Supervisor at Lubrizol. He loved visiting the local wineries with his wife and he cherished the time spent with his family.   Marvin is survived by his beloved wife, Robyn; his daughters, Kathryn (Charles) Daughters, Marie (Mark) Wolph, Sharon McLain; his son, Marvin Jr. (Patty) Moss; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, Danny (Florence) Moss. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fred (Janet) Moss; and son-in-law, Chris McLain.   Friends will be received from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison.  A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be Perry Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Marvin’s name to a charity of your choice.
