Marlea H. Baker, 86, a long time resident of North Perry, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, Sunday, March 5, 2017. She was born October 26, 1930 in Madison to Meda Dell (Cameron) and Harold "Becky" Beach. She graduated from Madison High School in 1950. Marlea worked for Industrial Rayon in Painesville for 25 years and Act Media for 15 years. Marlea was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan, she enjoyed gardening, vacationing in Las Vegas, garage sales and spending time with family. Marlea was a devoted wife to Orville "Lee" Baker for 54 years. Loving mother to Deborah (Marty) Rodick, Diana (Ken) Kokal; cherished grandmother of Dylan Rodick, Samantha Schulze, Chad Rodick and Alexa Schulze; step grandchildren, Lynn (Frank) Zagar, Christina Kokal; brother Richard (Yvonne) Beach, and sister Madeleine (George) Popp, brothers-in-law Neal (Carol) Robertson, Lewis (Clarita) Baker; sister-in-law Regena (Norman) Thompson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roland and Paul; sister, Carol Robertson; niece, Tracy Beach-McGill and brother-in-law, George Popp.
The family will receive friends from 4-5pm on Friday, March 10, 2017 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, OH 44057. Celebration of life will follow at 5pm at the funeral home. Rev. Michael Haury of Crossroads Community Church will officiate.
