Mark Donald Quayle
September 27, 1960 ~ June 17, 2017
Mark Donald Quayle of Perry passed away while home, in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 17, 2017. His death was sudden and unexpected; however, our merciful Lord called Mark when he was doing what he loved, sleeping, and there was no pain or long suffering. He was only 56.
Mark was born September 27, 1960 to Perry and Phyllis (Peterson) Quayle. They owned and operated a dairy farm, so Mark spent most of his childhood working the family farm. After graduation from Madison High School, he took employment with Lubrizol as caretaker and groundskeeper. Mark was determined and stubborn. He would not do anything he didn't want to do; but, he always did what he said. He loved watching sports and knew how to play AC/DC, Pink Floyd, and other great bands at the appropriate volume levelLOUD.
Mark leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Patricia; children, Tanya (Todd) Glawitsch, Mark Donald Quayle II, Katelyn Quayle; grandchildren, Morgan Underwood, Michael Glawitsch; sister, Sarah Sample; brothers, Charles (Susan) Quayle, John (Gail Hopkins) Quayle; and many loved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dennis M. Quayle, Phillip Quayle, Bruce Quayle; and brother-in-law, John Sample.
Friends will be received 10 - 11a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. Madison Ohio 44057. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. and Mark will return home to the family farm.

Mark was a classmate whom I liked very much. His joy permeated many animated conversations about every- and anything that we shared during our time at Madison High School. I am sorry for everyone's loss.
It's apparent I didn't know Mark as well as I could have. Truly my loss, what I did know of him was a contagious smile, humility, born of inner strength, love and respect to all- Marty
