Marjorie L. Schneider

Marjorie L. Schneider, age 88, of Unionville, was surrounded by her family when she passed away Monday, February 3, 2014. Born November 28, 1925 in Conneaut, she was the daughter of Louie (Hewitt) & Merle Gere. She married Rudolph Schneider in Cleveland on September 1, 1945. Marjorie was a 1944 graduate of Andrews School for Girls. She was a homemaker that put her family first. She enjoyed sewing and was a member of the Missionary Sewing Group at Nottingham Baptist Church. Marjorie also enjoyed gardening, flowers and fruit trees. She was an absolutely loving person – loving and being loved was her life. Marjorie is survived by her son, Robert (Joyce) Schneider ofKirtland; daughter, Dawn (Robert) Smith of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Bill Bruce, Gwynne (Brian) Capsavage, Robert Schneider and Jennifer Schneider; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew, Ashley and Adam; brother, Robert (Cindy) Gere of Toledo, OH; nieces, Janet (Bill) Cox, Devon Gere and nephew, Dave (Shelly) Gere. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Warren and sister-in-law, Laverne Gere. Friends will be received 10 – 11 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio, 44057. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Larry Pozza of Erieside Church on the Boulevard. Final resting place will be at East Springfield Cemetery in East Springfield, PA.
