Mario V Izzarelli

Mario Izzarelli, age 80 of Madison, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at UHHS Geauga Medical Center. Born December 7, 1933, he was the son of Mary (Ruffolo) & Pasquale Izzarelli. He married Theresa Alessi in Madison on May 11, 1963. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Mario was a veteran of the US Air Force and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Jay Wilson Post 112 of Madison. He enjoyed growing flowers, baseball and all sports. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and was a hard worker, enjoying working at Romans IV Restaurant which he owned for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Theresa of Madison; daughter, Julie (Gary Fedele) Lander of Madison; sons, Randy Izzarelli of Madison, Michael (Mary) Izzarelli of Niagara Falls, NY ; grandchildren, Samantha (Brian) Wheeler, Joseph (Jennifer) Lander, Erica Izzarelli, Jenna Izzarelli, Allison (Robert) White, Michael (Marcene) Izzarelli; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Daniel & Thomas (Debbie) Izzarelli; sisters, Patty (Dan) DeRubertis, Angie (Jim) Smith & Jill Eland. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leonard Izzarelli. Friends will be received 4-7 PM, Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057.
