Marilyn Behm Baber

Marilyn Behm Baber, age 77, of Euclid passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 at the David Simpson Hospice House. She was born on August 27, 1944 in Geneva, the daughter of Gordon and Anna Marie (Kolek) Behm.
Marilyn worked in research in the biology department at Case Western for over 25 years. She was involved in the Order of the Eastern Star and the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. She loved watching sports, especially when they included her grandchildren. She loved nature, shopping and tending to the flowers in her garden. She was an amazing baker and many people were fortunate to sample her wonderful cookies.
She is survived by her daughters Lisa Baber and Laura (Greg) Kita; grandchildren, Gregory and Madison Kita; sisters, Kathryn Behm and Carolyn Behm. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received 7-9 pm on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., in Madison. A second visitation will be held from 11 am to 12 pm on Friday March 18th. A public funeral service will be held at 12 pm beginning with a Service by the Order of the Eastern Star. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72101 Cleveland, Ohio 44192 or a charity of your choice. Final Resting Place will be Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson.

So sorry and send my sympathies to Marilyn’s family, daughters, grandchildren, and 2 sisters. All such all a nice family and will miss seeing Marilyn occasionally at class get-togethers and her grandson’s basketball games. Thinking of you all.
