Marie Miller

Marie Miller, age 89, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Forest Hills Place in Cleveland Heights. Born June 13, 1928 in Sciota County, OH, she was the daughter of Nora (Wheeler) and Buddy Brafford. Marie married Eugene Miller on March 17, 1951 in Madison. She worked at the Rayon for 20 years. Marie was also a housekeeper at Broadfield Manor Nursing Home and retired from Lake Hospital Systems. She worked on the family farm for over 50 years and sold raspberries and vegetables from her roadside stand and the East Cleveland Farmers Market. Marie had attended Crossroads Community Church in Madison. Marie is survived by her son, Steve (Donna) of Madison; grandchildren, Stephanie, Alex, James, and Ronald; sister, Nola Kinker; brother, Elmer Brafford; and son-in-law, Gary. Preceding Marie in death are her husband, Eugene Miller; daughter, Diane; grandson, Jason; her parents; sister, Irene Cutler; brothers Rod, Mathew, Elwood, Lonnie, Lunda, and Delmas Brafford. Friends will be received 1 - 2 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2017 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Final resting place will be Madison Memorial Cemetery.
