Margaret R. Azary

Margaret R. Azary, age 94, of Mentor passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016. The daughter of Mary (Vancza) and Alex Bellak, she was born May 9, 1921. She married Alex Azary on October 5, 1946. Margaret belonged to the golf league at Painesville Country Club and golfed until she was 88. Margaret was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Mentor and Fairport Senior Centers. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. Margaret is survived by her nephews; Tom (Nancy, deceased) Bellak, Jim (Marlene) Bellak, John (Anne) Schultz, Franklin Francosky; nieces; Julianna Czaja, Marie (Peter Ellis) Francosky, Patricia Lonser Norman; sister-in-law; Rose Azary Lonser; and dear friends and caregivers, The Algier and Elber families. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alex; her parents; and brothers, Alex and John Bellak; Friends will be received Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville, OH 44077. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, April 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8540 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060, with Father Thomas Elsasser, officiating. (Please meet at the church.) Final Resting Place will be Mentor Cemetery.
