You were a bright shining light, you’ll be remembered that way. Always loved. Always missed
Margaret "Peggy" (Miller) Yarcusko

July 29, 1934 ~ December 27, 2024
Born in: Connellsville, PA
Margaret was born in Connellsville, PA. Her family moved to Ohio where she graduated from Madison High School. She met and married Charles Powell; they had one daughter, Susan.
Margaret, also known as Peggy, had various jobs Including railway clerk and selling real estate. Her favorite was delivering newspapers by car with her dad Jacob assisting, precious time together.
Her passion was her family, and what better way to spend time with them than a road trip! Her
sister Joanne traveled many times with her to visit Susan in the Northwest. Her brother Duke drove the Alaska Canadian Highway in the winter to see her first grandson, Aidan. John Yarcusko, Margaret’s second husband whom she married in 1970, also loved going places by car. A good thing as she never would fly. Nieces were also welcome on these outings.
Of course, anyone who traveled with Margaret realized there would be many bathroom breaks, at
inconvenient times or places, side trips to find a suitable stop. Some led to meeting celebrities, like Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.
From 1956 on, she never missed an election, voting for causes and donating to various charities. Her friends from TOPS gave her much joy and she was active in her church, making friends there.
In 2021 Margaret moved to the Northwest she had visited many times to live with her daughter and son-in-law Edward. She agreed lt was green there, but not like the green hills of Pennsylvania. Her ashes will be put to rest at her mother’s family farm in Scottdale, PA. where she had many good memories.
Margaret is preceded in death by husbands Charles Powell and John Yarcusko, sister Joanne Vandervort and brother Donald Miller.
Margaret is survived by her sister Phyllis Roth, Bud Largent; daughter Susan Powell, Edward Flagan; grandsons Aidan Brezonick, lndia Southern and Jacob, Kimberly Brezonick. Also many nieces and nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews.

I have so many unforgettable memories of sharing love & tears, fun & laughs, and trips with you. I hope & pray that your last trip was your best one ever and when you arrived at your final destination the welcome home party was filled with amazing love and joy. Borrowing a line from a favorite song of mine, “I’ll see you on the other side.” Until then, you will be missed every day, thought of often, never forgotten.
