Margaret "Peggy" Blair, age 69, passed away April 18, 2013 at UH Geneva Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 2, 1943 in Cleveland. Peggy grew up in Mentor Headlands and graduated from Mentor High School. After her marriage to Phillip, they settled in Madison. Peggy worked as a receptionist at Harvey Hubbell for many years, and retired from Elster Perfection Corporation. Peggy was an avid reader and gardener, raising flowers, herbs and many vegetables, but mostly tomatoes which she would also can to have fresh tomatoes throughout the winter. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending all their concerts, sporting events and grandparent lunches. She is survived by her son, David (Carrie) Blair; daughters, Jackie (Terry) Wood, Michelle Kee; grandchildren, Gabe, Shannon, Dillon, Marcus, Chloe, Owen, Audrey and her furry best friends "The Boys" Max & Rocky. She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip; mother, Joan (Don) Burgett, father Lyle Walker and grandson Joshua Kelly. Friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday April 26, 2013 and 10-11 a.m. Saturday April 27th at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Contributions may be made to Lake County Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Building E, Mentor, OH 44060.
