Marcia Vera "Vee" Moseley died November 23, 2016 at her son's home in Hudson, Ohio, following a prolonged illness. Mrs. Moseley was born April 4, 1929 in Thompson, Ohio, the daughter of Morton V. and Janet H. Collen. She married Arthur J. Moseley on August 17, 1952. Mrs. Moseley graduated from Thompson High School in 1947 and Kent State University in 1970. She taught typing, shorthand and English at Cardinal High School, and also served as a substitute teacher at Auburn Career Center, Riverside and Ledgemont. She worked with her husband on the Moseley family's 200 year-old dairy farm and maple syrup operations. She and her husband were inducted into the Geauga County Maple Hall of Fame in 2015. Mrs. Moseley was a resident of Thompson for more than 70 years and was a member of Thompson United Methodist Church, where she served as church pianist, and of Ledge Grange, Thompson. She served on the Geauga County Fair Board Auxiliary, where she worked in the Flower Hall. Survivors include: her sons, Dale (Karen) of Hudson, Fred (Debbie) of Long Gove, IL, and Nathan (Barb) of Brecksville; six grandchildren, Kati (Michael) Daltorio, Sarah Vee, Philip, Melissa, Elizabeth and Rachel; four great-grandchildren, Silvia, Miles, Clive and Florence Daltorio; and two brothers, Vic (Mabel) and George Collen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Alice Boehnlein, Agnes Schadelbauer, Alma Jean Collen; and a brother, Fred Collen. Services are at 10 a.m. on November 29, 2016 at Thompson United Methodist Church, 6758 Madison Road, Thompson, with pastor the Rev. Jonathan Cooney officiating. Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on November 28, 2016 at Behm Family Funeral Homes, 26 River St., Madison, and 9 to 10 a.m. November 29 at the church.
