Marcia Pethtel

Marcia Ann Pethtel, age 91, of Perry, passed away January 26, 2022 at Southpoint Hospital in Warrensville Heights with her children by her side. She was born April 6, 1930 in Fairport Harbor, the daughter of Dagmar H. (Congos) and Donald T. Doran. She married Roy Pethtel in Painesville, Ohio on November 2, 1991.  Marcia was a clerk at Standard Drug and Revco in Painesville. She enjoyed spending time watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren growing up.  Her hobbies included doing crossword puzzles, reading, playing cards and watching the Cleveland Indians. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed bike riding and swimming. She is survived by her daughters, Kelly (Michael) White, Deneen (Joseph) New; son, David (Jeanne) Trubisky; grandchildren, Sara (Dan) Murphy, Katie (Dan) LaSpina, Jake (Amy) New, Mitchell (Hillary) Trubisky and Mariah, Manning and Mason Trubisky; great-grandchildren, Lily Kate, Hayden, McKinley, Sadie and Madden. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian Trubisky, daughter, Colleen Trubisky; husband, Roy S. Pethtel; 1^st husband, David Trubisky; sisters, Marlene LaSage, Barbara Long; brothers, Richard and Donald Doran. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 pm Friday February 4, 2022 at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road in Perry. Private family interment will be scheduled at a later date in Fairview Cemetery. The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is assisting the family at this time.
