Marcele V. Wynn

Marcele V. (Fox) Wynn, age 93, of Geneva, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Geneva Shores Nursing Home. She was born August 19, 1928 in Warren, OH the daughter of Cash and Anna Fox the youngest of four. She grew up in Leavittsburg, OH graduating from Leavittsburg High school in 1946 as the class president. She was married in 1946 and had two children, Dennis and Robin. She played softball since the age of 13 and was also an avid bowler and won many medals. She worked 20 years as a travel agent and traveled widely. She met her second husband Vern Wynn in 1988 and they were married 6 happy years and went on many travel adventures together. She moved to Mentor, OH in 2015 and lived in Independent living at Parker Place for 6 years. For her 88th birthday she flew in a Stearman bi-plane. She is survived by a son, Dennis D. (Bev) Steinbeck; daughter, Robin (Carol) Steinbeck; 2 granddaughters; 1 grandson; and one special niece, Kathy Sok. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kenneth and Donald; sister, Doris; and husband, Vern. Per her request there will be no funeral service and the family will have a private graveside service. She was a 13 year breast cancer survivor and in lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made in Marcele’s name to American Cancer Society 10501 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, OH 44106-2204.
