Lunda ?Slim? Brafford, Age 86, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 Geneva Point in Geneva from complications of pneumonia. Born May 8, 1923 in Minford, OH, to Nora (Wheeler) & Buddy Brafford and married Charlotte Helies on June 7, 1997 in Geneva. Slim was Head Custodian at North Madison Elementary School, retiring in 1989. Also formerly worked at Douglas-McLeod Boat Builders in Fairport Harbor. Enjoyed woodworking, fishing, reading Louis L?Amour westerns, but most of all Slim enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by Wife, Charlotte Brafford of Geneva; Daughters, Linda (Frank) Ragan of Tonopah, AZ & Margaret (Paul) Sites of Tonopah, AZ; Stepchildren, Christopher (Christine) Hlin of Geneva, Erika (Corey) Beal of Windsor; Grandchildren,Matthew Sites, Melinda Sebert, Joseph Montanaro, Melissa Montanaro, Jason Montanaro, Joshua Stewart, Zachary Hlin; 9 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Elwood (Peg) Brafford of Hurricane, WV, Delmos (Betty) Brafford of Minford, OH, Elmer Brafford of South Point, OH, Lonnie (Joanne) Brafford of South Webster, OH; Sisters, Marie Miller of Madison, Irene Cutter of Perry, Nola (James) Kinker of Waverly, OH; Sister-in-Law, Patricia Brafford of Painesville. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Mary Tabone; 2nd wife, Arlene Stewart; step-son, Lee Stewart; brothers Rod & Matthew Friends will be received 2-5:00 pm, Sunday, December 13, 2009 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Monday, December 14, 2009 at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva, Ohio. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
